M16 Male Thread Stainless Steel Rod End
SA16TK is a 16 mm male rod end with an M16 × 2.0 thread. The stainless steel version is made for equipment where the rod end may be exposed to water, humidity or outdoor conditions.
The standard size is easy to identify: 16 mm bore, 42 mm head diameter and 21 mm bearing width. The overall length is about 87 mm.

SS304 Body
The main reason to choose this version is the stainless steel body.
A zinc-plated steel rod end can work well in normal machinery. It is a different situation when the part is installed outside or around water. SS304 gives the housing better resistance to normal moisture and surface corrosion.
It should not, however, be treated as a guarantee against rust in salt water or chemical environments. For those conditions, the material and actual working environment should be checked together.

If the dimensions and thread are the same, it may be used as a replacement. The main difference is the body material. Check the load and operating conditions before making the change.

The basic size is the same. The main difference is the thread direction. SA16TK is normally right-hand, while SAL16TK is left-hand.
